What VMware VKS is
VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service enables Kubernetes clusters to be created and managed on the VMware platform. Infrastructure integration lets you define compute, storage and networking resources for applications.
Architecture and deployment
We review the existing platform, versions and application requirements. The design defines clusters, capacity, networking, storage and identity, together with the required operational tools.
Migration to VKS
We work on migrations to VKS from OpenShift, Rancher, EKS, AKS, GKE and vanilla Kubernetes. We assess manifests, persistent data, operators and integrations before defining adaptations and tests.
The plan agrees change windows, acceptance criteria and rollback. Compatibility and continuity are validated per application; using Kubernetes does not guarantee migration without adaptations or interruption.
Operations from day one
Operations include backups, automation and DevSecOps according to the project. Observability, access, upgrades, recovery, documentation and knowledge transfer are defined alongside responsibilities.
