NUXIA DATA

Data governance and storage
Data platforms

Know where data lives, who uses it and how it changes. Catalogue, lineage, quality and S3-compatible storage for a traceable platform.

Let's discuss your platform

Technologies and components

  • OpenMetadata: discovery, catalogue, classification, ownership, lineage and quality tests.
  • RustFS, SeaweedFS and Garage: object storage alternatives with an S3 API.
  • Ceph: object, block and file storage; Kubernetes integration through Rook where appropriate.
  • Hadoop/HDFS and MinIO: continuity for existing estates and assessment of evolution or migration.

Architecture and operations

We connect the catalogue to sources, assign owners and document data classification and flow. Storage design covers encryption, versioning, replication, retention and immutability for selected features and versions. Keys and access are part of the design.

Use cases

  • Inventory and traceability for audits, quality and sensitive data identification.
  • Storage foundation for lakehouse, backups and document archives.

Planning the migration

Migration from MinIO or another S3 service starts by reviewing application calls, policies, metadata and used features. We move bucket by bucket, verify checksums and test permissions and restore; S3 compatibility is validated rather than assumed.

What we deliver

Architecture design, versioned configuration, test plan, operating and recovery procedures, and team onboarding. We agree which components your team operates and which Nuxia covers.

Versions, licences, compatibility, support coverage and service targets are agreed after reviewing the environment. Sizing and results are validated with representative workloads and tests.

Frequently asked questions

Can we adopt only part of the catalogue?

Yes. Assessment determines what to keep, integrate and change. The architecture can start with a database, an event flow or a lakehouse domain and expand in stages.

Can it run in a disconnected environment?

This is assessed per component and version: dependencies, images, licences, updates and observability. Isolation requires internal repositories and a controlled import and verification process.
